Our products are classified into three main categories: Prehistory, Antiquity, and Middle Ages, each with its own unique specifications.

Prehistory

This period spans from 2.5 million years ago to 1200 BC. During this extensive timeframe, specialized modeling techniques did not exist, and people led a hunter-gatherer lifestyle for the majority of this era. Consequently, tools were primarily functional rather than aesthetic. These items are distinguished by their rugged and uneven shapes, reflecting an organic modeling style. The design is characterized by the exclusive use of a single source of material throughout the entire product, enhancing its aesthetic coherence and integrity.

Antiquity

Antiquity refers to the period roughly spanning from around 3000 BC to 500 AD, characterized by the rise and flourishing of ancient civilizations. Unlike prehistory, Antiquity often reflects a blend of functionality and aesthetic beauty, with designs showcasing intricate craftsmanship and a diversity of materials, embodying the cultural and technological achievements of ancient societies. During this period, artifacts feature iron handles, fabric elements, and carved designs.

Middle Ages

During the Middle Ages, spanning approximately from the 5th to the 15th century AD, there was a notable shift in focus from elaborate design to prioritizing practicality and ease of use. This period is characterized by robust construction and durability in artifacts, emphasizing functionality and reliability over aesthetic intricacy. Items from this period typically feature voluminous and utilitarian qualities.
