1. Warm the gaiwan and cups by rinsing them with hot water.

2. Add tea leaves (3-5g) to the gaiwan.

3. Pour hot water to rinse the leaves, then discard.

4. Fill the gaiwan 80% with hot water and steep for 10-30 seconds.

5. Hold the lid slightly open and pour the tea into the cups.

6. Sip and enjoy the tea slowly.

7. Refill the gaiwan for multiple infusions, increasing steeping time slightly.

8. Use the tray to catch spills and hold the set neatly.
